If you have a document which has been prepared in or is for use in a foreign country and which requires a signature to be witnessed then it is very likely that the signature will have to be witnessed by a Notary Public. It is also probable that the document may require further certification by the appropriate embassy or by legalisation with the Apostille of The Hague.
